Aragon’s REgional Hub for circularity: Demonstration Of Local industrial-urban symbiosis initiatives
REDOL is a European project involving 37 partner entities. The project focuses on researching the logistics and processes within waste collection value chains in the city of Zaragoza.
To date, the research has characterized the value chains of various waste streams by analyzing their stages, technologies, and data collection methods at each stakeholder’s entry and exit points. Furthermore, the project has conducted an in-depth investigation into the current logistical barriers faced by each chain. The specific waste categories under scope include: Packaging, Plastics, CDW (Construction and Demolition Waste), Textiles, and WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).
