While traditional geometric verification is often time-consuming, this research advances <strong>Volumetric Verification<\/strong> as an indirect measurement technique. By integrating <strong>laser interferometry<\/strong>\u2014specifically through Laser Trackers (LT) and Laser Tracers (LC)\u2014the project develops mathematical corrections for combined geometric and kinematic errors, significantly reducing verification downtime and the impact of external environmental factors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A key innovation of this research is the development of simultaneous data capture strategies using <strong>three telescopic arms<\/strong>. This system evolves previous prototypes to perform efficient volumetric verification of <strong>rotary axes in Machine Tools (MT)<\/strong>. By implementing simultaneous laser multilateration algorithms, the group aims to achieve high-precision tracking and error determination, bridging the gap between portable metrology flexibility and the extreme accuracy of laser interferometry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aligned with <strong>Industry 4.0<\/strong> paradigms, the project extends these techniques to <strong>flexible robotic machining cells<\/strong>. The research incorporates complete joint-error models and direct measurement strategies using up to six simultaneous telescopic systems and reference spheres. To manage the inherent non-linearity of machining conditions, <strong>Machine Learning<\/strong> tools are utilized for error modeling and real-time correction.
