At the core of our research is the development, calibration, and verification of precision manufacturing and measurement systems generating dedicated measurement solutions per application from the point of view of hardware, software and verification and calibration procedures. The development of positioning systems with nanometric resolution and long-range displacement for applications in precision engineering, inspection, and the manufacturing of structured surfaces are tackled in this line.
